In 1988, our father, Cees Vreugdenhil, a passionate transport professional, started his mission from Poeldijk with the ambition and courage to become the best carrier to France. In 1997, we moved to the transport centre in Maasdijk, where we are still located. Centrally situated near the A20 and the port of Rotterdam, and close to many Westland vegetable growers. Here, he laid the solid foundation for a healthy company that his children have built upon. The result? A flourishing company with 55 trucks, 75 trailers, and a hundred enthusiastic employees who annually handle thousands of international transports for hundreds of satisfied customers. Despite years of growth, our constant focus on quality and service has remained unchanged. We strive to provide excellent solutions and timely delivery of predominantly fresh and delicate products. The third generation is already gearing up, with the grandchildren of founders Cees and Hennie growing up in the dynamics of our 24-hour family business. Transport is in their DNA, and alongside their studies, they regularly work at “the company.”
All our employees who come into contact with “secure” air cargo are certified as “Air Cargo Employees.” This training makes them aware of the potential risks and dangers associated with air cargo transport. The training is approved by the Ministry of Security and Justice. Our company also employs a qualified Air Cargo Security Manager who further trains our employees on the job in security awareness regarding air cargo.
